Thinking about asking for help can be overwhelming – maybe a little frightening. Counselling and therapy is about helping you – whether that is a deep understanding of yourself, your life and why you are the way you are; making needed changes; working through persistent problems that seem to come up over and over again; or simply getting some outside perspective on a situation that’s weighing on your mind – I am here to help you.
I have worked with many different people in my career – from people who struggled to get out of bed in the morning, to people who just needed a few weeks to work through a particular circumstance, to people who had coped with difficult things for a very long time, and found they were not so able to cope anymore.

I’m a fully qualified and experienced therapist who specialises in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I’m particularly skilled in working with women who have survived abuse of all kinds – however, I have worked with many people, experiencing many different kinds of problems, and am comfortable with a wide variety of issues, including work stress, infidelity, family problems, and post-natal depression, among many others.
I’m a friendly and warm person, and I work hard to ensure that coming to therapy with me feels safe and secure. You are always welcome to say what’s on your mind – I’m not judgemental, I’m not easily shocked, and I don’t mind if you want to swear 🙂 – sometimes there’s really only one accurate word to describe an experience!
fees
I charge £75 per session. Payment is done by bank transfer at least 24 hours before the session. At this time, I am not offering student discounts – however, this is under review.
availability
My working hours are on Mondays after six, and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays, including evenings. I have an office in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, for face-to-face sessions and I also work remotely using Google Meet.
